There is a small strip of glass on the left side directly under the edge of the scanner, About a half an inch wide. It has something on it.
May be very hard to see, use a strong glass cleaner or some alcohol and a regular piece of paper to clean it with.

I own 2 MFC-7340's. As described in a previous answer, a vertical black line down the whole printed page is usually the result of an ink spot on the 1/2" strip of glass. I like writing with gel pens but they leave little gobs of ink and the script takes a while to dry. Ordinary ballpoints can do this, too. These gobs smear onto the glass scanning strip and that causes the black line on your print from the gob downward - and also on every succeeding document! Before you feed your documents, use the heel of your hand to blot any fresh script and then lightly sweep your fingers over the page to disperse the excess ink. The rubbing will cause some minor smearing, so if the image must remain sharp, just let it dry completely or (at the risk of putting dots of ink on the flatbed, which could potentially transfer to the white pad above) scan it on the flatbed. If you get a stripe, a dab of spit and a few wipes with a finger across the glass usually get rid of it. Take note if you do a lot of scanning, you should view a sample scan onscreen occasionally to make sure you haven't picked up a stripe.

What will be the reason for canon sensys fax-L 150 coping dark page but faxing and printing is ok.

First things first. Try and print report from the fax. Any kind of report. If it is printing OK, then the next step is to check if:

Your clients receive your faxes OK? If they are dark as well, then your scanner head is at fault.

When you make Copy on your fax and it prints dark it could be simply set with dark settings _or_because of the white calibration strip or roller being soiled or dirty, which acts as the ultimate white reference point for scanner _or_ the Scanner CCD sensor is in paper jam release position (too far away from reading the originals) just pull it back to normal feed position.

Or simply faulty scanner.

Copier leaves a black line when printing through the top paper feeder. Ok coping from the flatbed

When copying from the feeder the page is fed across a fixed point at the head of the flatbed. Any dirt etc on the glass at this point can present as a dark line running vertically down the printed page. When copying from the flatbed, the scan head is moved down the page so any dirt on the glass will only appear as specs. Try cleaning the glass, especially at the head of the flatbed where the feeder is loading the page to be copied.

Copying with page feed results in a vertical line on every page

There must be a strip of glass about one inch wide, next to
the large glass. There is the problem !
Clean that strip thourougly. When you use the feeder the pages
are scanned thru the small strip of glass.

Not printing properly....alignment

It is possible that the guides in the paper tray have moved?

If they are universal trays (meaning they are not locked down to only use one particular size), they could have easily shifted, causing what you have described.

Try copying using a sheet of paper through the bypass tray, and see if the image is centered. This will at least narrow down the problem to a particular tray.

Printer putting line down the page

I had a hp 3050 yesterday with two vertical lines running down the page when making a copy. All I had to do was to pull open the top cover where you put the paper you want copied and cleaned the glass strip with a rag and alcohol and the lines were gone.
