Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-V3 Digital Camera
I've always used a Sony Memory Stick (have never had a CF card).
After downloading a batch of photos from my memory stick, and replacing it in the camera, the "No CF Card" error message appears on my viewing screen.
Upon re-checking the Memory Stick with my computer (using a SONY magic gate USB card reader) it seems OK.
The problem is, my Sony DSC V-3 camera doesn't seem to know it's there - it keeps looking for a CF card instead!
The camera body has a tiny switch marked "CF" in one position and Sony's "memory stick" symbol in the other. Apparently I accidentally reset the switch from "memory stick" to "CF" while slipping the camera body into (or out of) its carrying-case. Once I had set this switch from "CF" back to the "memory stick" position, everything worked fine. Solution: read the user's manual more carefully next time!!
