Cant get channel 03 off my scene of my tv - Sanyo DS31590 31" TV

    I have lost my remote control for this tv. Somehow the screen displays "03" in the lower right hand corner, all of the time. How do I clear the display by just using the buttons on the tv?

    Are you in TV VCR mode on Remote? Have you setup Channel Auto Search to lock on all available stations?

    Explain " can't get channel 03 off my scene of my TV??
    Can u explain yourself a little better,please! Are u using the remote control [r/c] ?, Are u using the MENU function of the TV ?
    Are you trying to NOT let channel 03 show?
    Is the "scene" in your statement = screen ?
    Please don't get offended at my questions!!

When tv is on, up in the top corrner where the channel shows it will not go away.

I dunno but i've got the same problem.. no matter what channel i'm on the green c03 or whatever stays up there... it's annoying.

Cant get to channel 3 on my magnavox tv
If set has a menu button go to menu and find auto program and program channels with it.

Otherwise you need a working remote to enter 03 and get back to that channel.

Had to get rf modulator and still cannot operate vcr will play but will not show tv shows followed dicections on connections but no results
RF modulators are designed to work on specific channels. ex: 03 & 04
Make sure your TV is set to that channel.

Also the VCR has the option to display live TV or VCR.
If you cant find how to switch to VCR usually putting in a tape and pressing play will automatically switch it on. Then you can see the VCR on the TV.

I believe there may be another setting, it has to do with auto contrast which can make the TV seems to have high contrast ratio but sometime it does not work right, espically on the scene with dark sky with stars, someitme it will will reduce the brightness to make black real black and you can loger see the stars in the scene. I forget the name of this setting, it may be in the user manual. Do you see that in TV HD mode in other movies with a lot of dark scenes?

Get channel 3 on tv with autoprogramming
When you select channels, the one that comes in the channel number will be green and if you manually select 03 it will probably be red. Hit menu and add channel 03

Rca tv issues with vertical hold after resoldering...
The only thing I can recommend my freind, since I did not resolder the board, is for you to go over your work with a fine tooth comb. Yes I too, with 38 years experience, have cause problems while resoldering or rushing a repair. Good Luck Please do not forget to rate this thread.
