Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
0020 is open connection under the G.P.U. 90% of the time.
If you removed the heatsink studs and the x clamp then screw down
the G.P.U.'s heat sink followed by a forced over heating of the G.P.U.
Then you did nothing wrong as far as the stander procedure goes.
The connections under the G.P.U. have to much gaping to be
compressed back the pads.
Your second option is to have the G.P.U. re flowed with
proper clamping to insure it stays connected .
This will give the longest lasting repair .
The x-clamp mod repair last 1-3 months on average
and it will warp the board under the G.P.U. and
becomes very difficult to repair after that .
