Extra symbols?

There are shortcuts, albeit usually Alt + a numeric sequence. Visit http://www.pcdon.com/page3.html for a full tutorial on the subject matter.

Hope this helps!

ON OUR ACER ONE KEYBOARD WE CAN`T FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET ALL

The keys to modify other keys are 'shift', 'alt gr', and in some laptops 'fn', 'ctrl' and 'alt' also affect key, but they are more use for shortcuts and less to alternate key symbols.

Can't get the @ symbol on a HP mini 110-1033ca

To the right of the keyboard is the 'ALT GR' ("alternate graphic") key.
Hold that key down, and press the '@' key.

My blitz doesnt text

Try this. Touch Keypad simulates a wireless phone keypad on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols just as if you were using a wireless phone keypad. Touch Keyboard simulates a 20-key QWERTY (typewriter) keyboard on the touch screen to allow you to enter text, numbers, and symbols similar to the way you would using a QWERTY keyboard. To use Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard:  In a program, tap the Input Selector arrow, and then tap Touch Keypad or Touch Keyboard. To type lowercase letters, tap the keys on the dial pad or keyboard. To type a single uppercase letter, tap the Shift key and then tap the corresponding key. To type all uppercase letters, tap the Shift key twice. To change back to all lowercase letters, tap again. To enter a space after the word, tap the Space key. To start a new line, tap the Enter key. To backspace and delete a single character in any input mode, press the Back key. To open the Symbol pad, tap the Symbol key. To change the input mode:  Tap the Input mode key to switch to a different input mode: XT9 (predictive), Multitap (abc), or Numeric (123).

Hope this helps, let me know if this works or if I can help you with anything else.

You mean the "@" symbol? You should press the shift key(hold) and press 2 on the alphabet keypad. Remember on the ALPHABET not on the numeric keypad.

Lock 9 light is on

The numeric keypad functions like the numeric keypad on an external keyboard. Each key on the keypad has multiple functions. The keypad numbers and symbols are marked in blue on the right of the keypad keys. To type a number or symbol, hold down <Fn> and press the desired key.
  • To enable the keypad, press <Num Lk>. The keyboar2.jpg light indicates that the keypad is active.

  • To disable the keypad, press <Num Lk> again.

Mathematical notation should be adhered to in order eliminate ambiguities and avoid wrong answers.

To find you 'result' I had to try different scenarii.
The one that worked is the following
  1. e^(-0.019) is 0.9811793622
  2. raise this result to the 12th power: the result is 0.7961242598
  3. Multiply this last result by 250000 to find 199031.065
The last result suggests that you made a mistake copying the final result.
This is how you should have presented the question.

Calculate 250000*(e(-0.019))^12
Notice the two set of parentheses.
To type that on your calculator
250000[*] [ ( ] [ ( ] [ Shift ] [ e] [(-)] 0.019 [ )] [ ) ] [ ^] 12

In the foregoing key sequence,
  1. every symbol between square brackets [ ] is a keypad key.
  2. Numbers are not put in brackets.
  3. [(-)] is the change sign symbol and
  4. [^] is the general power key under [VARS] and above [LN]

At least it did not take me 400 years as in the case of Fermat's theorem.
