Temporarily, put a cello tape on it so as to prevent it from opening and the battery falling. As a permanent measure, have to cover changed. Takes about five minutes to do it yourself.

Yes, battery replacement is from inside. That is why they also give you a key. They take a 9 volt battery with the two contacts on top.

My safe has an electronic lock.recently had to have batteries changed, battery case cracked, batteries not making connection. Please tell me what needs doing.

Try folding aluminum foil and putting it between the batteries. This will push the batteries tight and make good connection.

Code has been changed and battery is flat

Try taking the batteries out and put them in again. Also try to clean the contacts with a pencil erasser. Try putting in new batteries.
If you have the turn knob inside the door check to see if the plastic isn't cracked (broken) if it is that would stop your batteries from working.

Acer aspire 4520 laptop, I purchased at a yard sale, turned on ok, ask for password, attempted several times, no luck . Now lock out, can't power up.

If its your LAPTOP you may have the battery and the power adapter use it make it live and the password is from bios then you have to open the cover and remove the battery or if its asking after windows log appear you can crack the password using active@password crack software and you can use it or you can format it install new windows
