urm...not to be sounds **** or ignorant,
but, dont you think it would be nice if you just call tmobile and let them know that your found a sidekick and want to give it to the owner. im sure the owner will be totally happy to learns that someone found it since i bet the owner shell out alot of money for a sidekick.
I had the same problem with the sidekick i bought off of ebay , when you cal customer care just tell them you got it off ebay and you need the old users information deleted, they will give you step by step instructions on how to do so. Remember to not call on your sidekick becasue you will have to restart the phone.
When the sidekick does a hard reset, it drops all the data until it resyncs with the data servers. When the battery is loose, this is what happens
It sounds like the battery is loose. What you need to do is power the sidekick off. Then firmly reset the battery and place a folded up piece of paper between the battery and the battery cover. This will keep it firmly in place.
