Hello

OK, most of the newer model cameras can do this, but, unfortunately you do not specify as to which brand and model you are using, so i can't say for sure.

Why not give it a try, let me know if it works.

Kind regards
Andrea

Software disc is too small, macbook pro will not accept the disc

Hi, if the Macbook can't read the Mini discs, you can copy the contents of the Mini Disc to any USB Flash Drive by inserting the Mini Disc in any Desktop Computer's CD/DVD Drive. After copying the Mini disc contents to USB Flash Drive you can install in the Macbook pro. var geo_Partner = '843689b9-ba30-459d-9c4b-876924715b22'; var geo_isCG = true;

I have a sony handy cam DCR - DVD105, I want to know all the ways of being able to connect it to a laptop and extract the files to use in other softwares, like Window's Movie Maker, or Power Direct 09.

How to load Mini DVD to Mac
  • Though Mini DVD can not be played back in Mac slot loading player, we have other ways to load Mini DVD to Mac.
  • Method 1 If Mini DVD camcorder has FireWire or USB; just connect the Mini DVD camcorder to Mac using FireWire, or USB to load Mini DVD to Mac.
  • Method 2 If Mini DVD camcorder has not FireWire or USB; just shop for external mini-DVD drive that uses either a USB or Firewire connector cable, and then connect the external mini-DVD drive to your Mac and install any extra software that came with it. Insert the mini-DVD into the external drive, and then access the files on the mini-DVD as you normally would to load Mini DVD to Mac.
  • Method 3 If Mini DVD camcorder has not FireWire or USB; buy an adapter that converts a mini-DVD to a normal DVD by adding on a circular plastic piece that emulates the full size of a regular DVD. Attach the adapter to the mini-DVD and load it into the Mac's DVD drive to access the files. (Check the specifications of the adapter before purchasing, as several on the market do not work in vertical-loading drives like those found on the MacBook Pro.)
  • Method 4 If Mini DVD camcorder has not FireWire or USB and you don't want to buy a separate external drive or full-size adapter either, but you do have access to a PC, you can transfer the files on the mini-DVD onto the PC, then put them onto a USB flash drive, which will work on your Mac.

Ny Nuvi 260 W will not turn on. It's fully charged and still nothing.

Garmin Support has stated that a fully discharged battery can only be recharged from a computer USB connection, i.e. car 12V and AC adapter do not work. Make sure that your USB computer cable has a true mini-USB connector which conforms to the USB standard, i.e. with a 5-pin connector. There are cheap cables available in many stores which do not conform to the USB standard and have only 4 pins - look for the official USB logo on the packaging to be sure that you get the 5-pin connection.

Note also that a computer USB connection is only a trickle charge, with 500mA available at best, if no other devices are attached to the same USB Root Hub, so leave it connected for 2-3 hours to be sure.

Flash card and F/W for Mita KM-2030

The flash card would be a usb drive flash card or a mini flash drive. I am not sure which one your copier needs if there is a usb drive you can just use a usb drive to plug it in or if not there might be a slot around the side or the back about 2 inches long where you can insert a mini flash drive which looks like a square drive about a quarter inch thick that will plug into that, you may need to buy an external slot to interface with your computer.
