Question about Daewoo Televison & Video
Ok, this usually happens when the test pattern is used to "Find" the channels with the TV. Check to see if this is indeed what your problem is. You need to turn it off.
On the back of the VCR, there will be TEST Switch, or the like switch, that must be OFF, Or, it maybe in the program, if not a real switch, usually is though, that switched on will cause that pattern will be displayed, as said it's used to tune the TV, onto the VCR's OUTPUT frequency. You turn that ON, find, "Tune" the TV's channel, onto the right station, and the turn it OFF and play the Tape/DVD. This is ONLY usually ON RF output. The Co-axial lead to the TV, But, If you use Component Blue, Red Green, for Video out, or Composite, Yellow only, for Video out, then this is not used.
