If the double image is in a differant color, then its your convergence IC's that need replacement. This is not a job for the unexperienced person. If you have no electronic repair experience, please seek out a pro to assist you in this repair. There are two IC's, about 3"X5" that are black in color and have STK with several numbers following them. Good Luck PS please dont forget to rate this thread.

check all inputs on tv ,also check if menu on tv is working ,make sure lines arent being produce by another source, cable box etcc..If menu and or OSD are affected .Then there is a good chance you have lightning damaged some where in signal section on tv .

this is the convergence gone bad. that is what was blowing the fuse.
this is the board on the far left. there are two stk`s on this board.

My father's TV is doing the same thing, however the picture is still working. You can see the picture but there are vertical green/red lines going through the entire screen. I tried an alternate source (DVD) instead of the digital cable box and go the same thing. Can anyone help???
