The pinch roller is held in place by a pressure connector and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it’s not a user serviceable problem and will need to be diagnosed by a qualified service technician.

How do I replace the spring in the latch door on my rn175

There are several methods for installing this little spring. My simple method. You will need 30 mm x 3 mm roll pin and a small piece of nail about 1/2 inch in length. It is very difficult to install the small factory roll pin so I use a longer one then cut off the access with Dremel. Remove the 3mm roll pin and pull out the lever discarding the broken spring. Fit the new spring on the lever using the 1/2 inch piece of nail that can pass thru the 3mm hole of the lever. The piece of nail should not stick out either side so that you can slide in the lever with short pin holding the new spring in place. Now insert the lever in place on the door and hold in position (temp pin aligned with 3mm holes in door ), lightly hammer in the long 3mm roll pin. The long roll pin will push out the temporary piece of nail holding the spring in place. Once the long roll pin is in place, cut off the extra length. Good luck

One rusty piece of metal dropped from the middle of plastic cover. Now, the washing machine lost its sensor, it keep showing dE and peep all the time. Unable to process washing. What can I do now, please...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

'dE' stands for 'door Error' indicating that there is a problem either with the lid/door lock or the lid/door locked sensor requiring a service call, sorry. That piece of metal was probably part of the door lock ;-0(

If this has assisted and/or clarified the situation for you please consider a 4 thumbs up on our rating.
Thanks and good luck!

The bit does not lock in place just falls out or gets stuck in the concrete. Is this normal for it to be so loose?

As the retainer shaft (part # 322550-8) wears it will begin to drop the bit. Also could be the roll pins that hold the shaft. Remove the two pins and take a look at condition. You could build up the metal with welder and grind to shape. Part is available at www.toolpartsdirect.com at a cost of about $25. Good luck with your repair.

How do i repace ignition switch on 2001 dodge grand caravan

Hi,
The lock can easily be removed if you have a working key and can still turn it to the on position.
You need to remove the screws located in the bottom half of the shroud, then remove the shroud.
Locate the retainer pin ( a small square shaped metal piece) in the bottom of the lock housing) The picture below is for a reference, it is not the same lock but very similiar to yours.
While applying pressure to this pin , use your key to rotate the lock clockwise, until you feel the pin drop into the lock. At this point, you can remove the lock.
