Let's start with the basics first in order to solve your samsung Galaxy 3 issue. Once we go that, we can move forward as necessary.
Most simple thing to do would be to restart your phone. If this issue occurred after you installed a new app, then I would suggest removing that app and checking if you're still having issues with the keyboard not working.
Your keyboard is supposed to appear automatically when you touch the area were you are intended to input the password. It's an automatic thing. If it's not happening, then you have a problem with the tablet. In the rarest of issues, you have to lower the WiFi security for the tablet to be compatible.
Heres a few ways to get around issues with keyboading.
What keyboard app are you using? You can download alternative keyboard apps as one way to get around bugs in the stock Nook Keyboard app. I love Swiftkey as it's now free. Google itself has has its own keyboard app. Both run circles around stock aspecially Swiftkey.
Are you using any of the accessibility features? Go Settings - Accessibility. Make sure the choices are all set to off.
Press the Switch Keyboard button. Press Set up input methods.
Be sure it shows your correct language, turn Auto capitalization to off. Turn auto correction to off.
Triple check your screen is really really clean and smooth to the touch.
When does this happen? Hitting Return/Enter/or the
key will generally throw this up. It is also noticeable on spreadsheets which jump to the next specified cell and automatically create a leading upper case character in the cell just used. These are operating system or program settings.
Try noting when this happens and then re-create it to be sure. Log the sequence to see if there are any keys which are involved (also the length of time or even just tapping a key or spot on the tablet surface can have a totally different meaning)
i have the same problem.
I run the windows screen keyboard and i discovered that when i press
both r+t keys and u+y both shifts are switching on. i'm not able to switch
it off even using mouse on screen keyboard.
as temporary workaround i press fn key then i press shift on screen keyboard, then both shifts switches off.
i didn't fount full solution.
The best way to fix this is to insert the Windows Vista DVD that originally came with the computer. After you have the disc in, restart the computer and you should be prompted to "Press Any Key To Boot From Disc" or something along those lines...
Once you do that you will be given the option to repair Windows Vista. It will automatically scan the computer and fix any issues.
If you have a specific error message or have any trouble doing this, please let me know and I will be more then happy to further assist you!
may be the best solution for this problem is consult your hardware manufacturer and ask him to replace the motherboard, if the pc is under warranty they will replace it for free of cost.
