CANNON MP600 Like some others, this useless piece of junk used to scan and has stopped. I have taken it to be repaired and have had it returned with the same problem. Any ideas?

Cannon MP600 printer shut itself down during printing operation . Pressing ON/OFF button will not turn it. I checked connections and power source. Still, no reaction.

Re: "Cannon MP600 printer shut itself down during printing operation ."

If a Canon inkjet printer is turning itself off, then problem is either control board or power unit. When this happens printer is often considered beyond repair, and in any case it must be tested by a technician to find out the problem.Repair involves testing volts out from power unit and testing components on main board.
Considering that the MP600 is quite an expensive inkjet, I suggest contacting Canon support and asking a quote on repair.

TV says no database. Just taken out of box. Checked set up and all if fine. Will not recieve broadcast. Antennea is in and Auto scan said zero found and mode is on TV. Any help or should I return?

Since this is a new piece obtain warranty repairs from the supplier. Hope your cable is working OK with other TV.

Some times service mode adjustment needed. Only theservice provider knows the code to change the settings.

Cannon MP600-where do you see Error Code? I just get "Paper output slot" paper is jammed; but it's not!

That error usually comes from the sensor under the platen roller. It's a tiny black plastic piece that the paper pushes when it passes under the platen roller. The end can bend when you pull out a jam, or a tiny paper scrap can hold it down. The same screen gives error codes when there are other malfunctions, the error now is just that sensor.

The start buttons are not working in scan mode. Press them and nothing happens. The other buttons work, such as the two buttons directly below the screen.

Scan from the scanner and camera wizard, the front scan button is useless. Go to My computer, open the scanner icon and scan from there, no need to use the button at all.

Useless printer f340

HP gear is troublesome all right. Sounds like the drivers and software necessary to catch the button push on the scanner is not installed or working correctly (this is separate usually from the other drivers and so forth). Try reinstalling all of the HP drivers and utilities from the latest versions on their web site.

Good luck...
