XP and the printer is MFC-210. Further I have found that although I have set the paper size to Photo in the properties under the 6x4 size it says fit to A4. I printed on 6x4 paper and the photo only prints on approximately half of the paper. Leave the settings for Photo and put in A4 paper and the photo prints normal in one corner of the A4 sheet.

    1. Which software/applicaton are you using to print?

    2. What's the printer model#?

It's better to configure the paper size through the printer but the best way to do it from the software on the pc. when you go to print it, select file, print as you do, then go to paper size and select manually from the paper options and then click ok and print it.

I CANNOT GET IT TO PRINT 6X4 PHOTOS FOR ME. IT KEEPS TELLING ME THAT I HAVE THE WRONG SIZE PAPER

The default setting for 6x4 photos is 100mmx150mm paper. If the machine does not detect paper that size or has not been told where to find it, the machine will report a paper fault. Refer to the manual on the CD that came with the machine esp Ch2 P14 and Ch4 P22 for help in this. If you don't have the CD you can download the manual from the Brother Website.

Using Easy print

If you are using Easy Photo Print ( highly recommended) select your images, then select your paper type and size, then select your layout and print.

If you are printing direct or wirelessly, your options are more limited to A4 or 6x4".

When I print pictures on the 3210 HP all-in-one, they come out very small even though I choose the 4X6 in paper size for the photo tray. I've tried everything I can, but the pictures keep printing wallet...

First thing that comes to mind is that a 4x6" print could print four wallet sized photos; be shure your are not printing more than one copy.

If you are trying to print more than one,it will print the actual picure you have and leave space for the number of other nonexistent prints selected.

See page 75 of the Manual. for directions on how to set up photo printing.

If you have photoshop, you can resize your documents using the menu item, Image / Image size, (Alt + i then i again)

Set the resolution to 300, then the document size width to 6 or 10 inches.

This will guarantee that your document is full size, (though the printer should be able to resize it to fit on the page no matter what).

Give these a try. It's really a shot in the dark, but it's my best guess.

Cheers.
Richard.
