Hello,

Try replacing the battery with a new one. If problem still persist, bring the camera to Kodak Helpdesk.

Thanks.

I was tring to charge the camera M1073IS by mistake i did put a charger that has 9V instate of 5V the screen went bright wight for about 10 seconds and then i took the charger off and put it back again not...

Well, that was nearly double the voltage required for the camera. Usually you cant even plug in the wrong charger.

In this case, you may have destroyed the camera's battery.
To test this, you can go to an electronics store for them to test, or you can purchase a replacement battery (hang on to the receipt) and if it does not work in the camera, you may return it. Be sure to ask someone in the store if they accept opened packages, explain the situation, and be sure that is within their return policy.

If the new battery does not operate the camera properly, it is entirely possible that you overpowered the camera beyond its tolerances and it would have to be repaired or replaced by Kodak.

Sorry I dont have better news.

Cheers.

Hi, my Kodak easyshare MD41 will turn on but when i do it retracts the lens right away. i took it to the beach, so im guessing sand or the sand dust got in it. Is there a way i can fix this without having...

You are right it got some sand into its eyes. You know that canned Air you can get at the office supply stores I used it to blow out the sand. Remember it will blow refrigerant out if you shake it, or turn it upside down. I set it on a table so I could blow straight at it instead of down on it and I blew it off, then blew it off while I tried to open it then opend it and took out the battery to keep it open and blew it evry where i could immagine air might go and put the battery back in and :-)

Camera keep shutting off right after turning on and picture blurr

i have had this problem with a few digtal items, yes the if the screen was up and the sun baked the it you will get a blurry screen, also deping on the amount of time and the conditons sometimes the salty air will oxidize those little components faster than you can imagine making you have to return to the store, first try using an eraser on your battery terminal for the power issue

Kodak Z812 shuts off automatically

It is a high-powered camera, also knows as a GREAT camera. Use CRV-3 lithium duracell batteries. I have the same camera and the same "problem", but when I use that battery it lasts forever.

Kodak Easy Share M873 suddenly not working

What happened is that the camera got turned on in your pocket or somewhere and the lens got jammed trying to open up. The problem is that the outer lens ring is not turning all the way and the camera doesn't fully load.

Solution 1: Put the camera into the charger, press the power button so the green light is flashing, unplug it from the charger. The camera will try to realign its lens. (You might have to do this a few times.)

Solution 2: Manually help turn the outer lens ring clockwise when it turns on.

Charger blinks red and does not charge

This maybe a solution. I had the same issue just now. Pulled battery, put back in, placed on dock, and still blinking red. So I removed the camera from the dock, pulled battery, put same old battery back in, placed on the dock and turned the mode switch on right away before it started blinkin red. It seems to be charging now with one bar and has not gone blinking red for 15 minutes.

I was outside with the camera in 10 degree weather taking pics of my dogs but had been inside for 20 minutes before placing it on the doc. I think something may have happened with the charging circuit and turning it on right away with it on the doc may have reset the charging. Try it. Hope it works for you.

Kodak CX7330. turns on but LCD screen is black and won't take a pic

It sounds like a bad connection on the ribbon cable of the LCD screen to the camera's motherboard. The fact that when you physically move the camera around and you can get the screen to then work, tells me something is loose inside.

Good luck!
