My kitchenaid dishwasher kude40fxss4 stops after few minutes into any cycle then the front blue light starts flashing. If I press start again it will start but it'll stop with the blue light flashing

Hello. I've attached images that show the error code chart for your series unit--look at the lights blinking, which ones and how many times they blink.Read the 1st instructions carefully to put the washer into diagnostic mode. You will have to go through the charts to find out what specific code you're getting and what it means. I hope this documentation helps you!

Is your washer a front load? Does it have a small window where you read the stages or minutes left?
If so is there a code flashing in thet window?
Also what year is your model?

My washer had 1 minute left before the spin cycle was complete.

Push and hold the START button for three seconds if you want it to finish off that last minute.

...or...

Push and hold the PAUSE button for three seconds to stop the cycle.

Peace.

My dishwasher shuts itself off

The lights will typically blink when the door comes open. It may be that when the washer warms up, parts of it expands and allows the door to open slightly. It may also be that the trigger that registers the door being shut is not being tripped.
