How many watts does a old gibson 21.6 cu ft freezer use

Check the nametag on the fridge and take note of the total amperage draw of the unit. That that reading, and multiply it by 120 volts and the resultant answer will the the total wattage of the unit... If you want to get it precise, measure the applied voltage at the receptacle where it is plugged in. Your 120 volt circuit may really be supplying 125 volts or more and that will effect the calculation....though minimally.

Is it dengerous to bypass wattage limiter

What do mean "wattage limiter"? Do you mean a dimmer switch? If so, what do you mean by "bypass"? Your bulbs (if in USA) are rated for 110-120 volts, and use whatever wattage they say they are rated at. Wattage is the amount of 'power' consumed. By "bypassing the switch", I assume you mean direct wiring them. IF so, they will only use whatever they are rated at.

Output wattage of sony speaker system model ss-cfx250

Passive speakers don't have an output wattage rating, that would be applied to the amplifier :-) The INPUT wattage rating of these speakers is 5 watts RMS per speaker.

I need to know the wattage of my magic chef oven model 6898VV

Hi Nadia,

There's little to be found on the internet for this model oven now. There should be a name plate / manufacturer's sticker either inside the door - on the jamb; or on the rear near the power cord. If you see a rating given as "120VAC / 1200W" this would indicate INPUT wattage, which would be higher than the amount used for cooking. A typical 1200W rated microwave might have 800 - 1000 Watts of cooking power. If there are 2 ratings for wattage like 120V / 1200W / 850W; the 850 Watts is the amount of cooking power. The cooking power - or wattage - is always lower than the total wattage. If you see a rating somewhere that indicates 900W cooking power, then that would be the cooking power of the oven.

If you're not satisfied or unsure about the information you're finding on the oven - or it is missing - you might want to contact Magic Chef Customer Service Department at (888) 775-0202. They should be able to help you - or pint you in the right direction.

Good luck!

I'm in Europe where the voltage is 220 instead of 110-120. I need a transformer to use the fan but was wondering what wattage is required.

Hi elinorkim...
To find out what wattage transformer to use you must do a little math.
Multiply Amps times Volts = Watts...this is the least amount of watts you want to use, the more the better...higher wattage will make the transformer run cooler and last longer.
Look on the side of your fan for a tag that has this information on it.

N15232 motherboard wattage help

the power supply wattage rating is MAX wattage, not constant wattage. the power supply only outputs the amount of power that the rest of the computer calls for, and no more. if yor computer only needs 200 watts, that is all that will be sent from the power supply; even if it has a max rating of 600 watts, it will only send the amount of watts which your computer calls for.

What is the wattage of modle number wes0930dn1bb and is there a power setting for 650 watts

Per the owner's manual, it is an 800 watt unit.

Click on this link, then enter your model number "wes0930" and then click on "Use and Care Manual" to download your manual:

I've never heard of a microwave that lets you change the cooking power output. The magnetron tube that produces the microwaves only has off or on modes. No "low wattage" mode.

The "percentage cooking power" adjustments you can make on the control panel only cycle the microwaves on and off to reduce the amount of time the oven is actually cooking.

If this information was useful, please select YES to the first two rating questions. Good Luck and thank you!

Have a low volt intermatic transformer where only one side works.

If you have 2 sets of A and B terminals, then power pack is usually rated for 600 watts, with 300Watts on each A and B.
I don't know how to tell what wattage power pack is, except add up total watt amount of bulbs that originally came with unit. That should give approximate value of power pack wattage.

Need to know watt output for PB115M1.

The timer has an amp rating for the contacts that switch the load you want to control. It will give you the contact rating on the door. For Wattage conversion, multiply the amps x volts= watts

Well I guess, one can look at the electrical name plate of the model in question. Note the voltage and amp rating. and sometimes the wattage is listed. Or multiply the voltage 120 times the amperage. The product is your wattage. regards, fmauka
