Question about Sharp AQUOS Blu-ray Disc Player
Hi...I also have a Sharp BD-HP24U. I was having trouble with my Netgear router as well. I wound up downloading the latest firmware update from the Sharp USA website onto a memory stick. Then putting into the USB port in the back of the player, and uploaded. I am now happily streaming Netflix. Hope this helps!

To further isolate the issue, you may want to consider plugging the blu ray straight to the modem. If you get functionality, then there is a compatibility issue between the units and a new one won't fix the issue. If it still doesn't work then you will feel better about returning the unit.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
