Question about Flat Panel Televisions
While my TV was on with a video camera connected to it via the front AV input the screen and sound died but the video camera continued playing as normal. I turned the TV off and back on and the red power supply light came on and there was a clicking sound as if the picture was initiated but then nothing happened.
I left it off for a few days and tried again but the same thing happened, this television is just under two years old, what do you think the problem could be??
Strange problem to occur. Sounds to me like the TV has developed a fault. I think that it just may be a coincidence that you happened to have a camcorder plugged into it at the same time. I would be calling Panasnic and express your concern about its untimely failure... Products with a reputation like Panasonic should last longer than 2 years. If you express your concerns firmly, manufacturers often will help you to sort out the problem. If not under warranty, then at least contributing parts to the repair. Ring a Panasonic Authorised service center in your area. I am not sure where you are in the world, but if you need me to find someone, then let me know where you are and I can get on the case. :)
