Hi Grace, when you downloaded the program it was one file. If you have the ability to burn CD's, copy that file to CD. You are the person who ordered, payed for & downloaded the software from norton. As a member you can creat a CD. Norton has instructions on-line. You'll need to sign in to norton & find that section or call them. (I know this is true because I did this a few years back). You truley want to make a CD. If you're system dies for any reason you'll loose the norton software. It's strongly suggested you burn the software to CD. Once done you can also move to another PC & install directly from the CD.
Lastly, the norton CD has the ability to run a virus scan directly from the norton CD. A must need option is a virus shuts down you're operating system.Norton's CD is a bootable CD.

Be sure that you purchased the anti virus software which you can use on authentic serial key into several PC..

It is possible that your Norton 360 only works in single workstation.

Kindly post back and I'm glad to hear more info from you..

Hope this give you initial help on the problem.

Need to put norton 360 on this laptop. 2nd of the possible 3, allowed

don't use norton 360, it will only slowing down your pc if your computer not powerful enough.
Thus, norton not really a good antivirus.

bitdefender total security is good enough for you. It has a option called game mode that won't slowing down your pc

firstly, edit your question above and remove your product key, as this could cause you trouble down the road more and people see it, copy it down and then stasrt using copies of this program for free using your product key. Secondly, Norton support will be able send you the file again so that you can complete the process.

I just purchased Norton 360 2.0 CD to install in my computer. Three hours later - not installed. I have AVG 8.0 that continues to pop up when I initiate the Norton installation, installation tben stops...

Yes you need to uninstall any and all antivirus programs installed on your computer. After uninstalling, make sure to reboot your computer. Do that for each antivirus or internet security software you have installed. Once done, it Norton 360 should install. If you have troubles uninstalling AVG, check their support area on their website. I'm not sure if you have a paid version or the free version but here are the sites for both.

I purchased norton 360 version 2.0 order no 1849616067 iwish to use it on my laptop since 3 month free useage expires in 2 days could you please instruct me how to do this as i believe i can use this...

Dear Sir/Madam,

Norton 360 2.0 may be installed on three computers at one time. If you have the product on a CD, you can install it on other two computers using the same CD and the same Product Key. Go to the section "I have a CD version".
If you have purchased the download version of Norton 360 2.0, you need to download and install Norton 360 2.0 on the other two computers, using the same purchase order details. Go to the section "I have a download version".
I have a download version
1. Go to the Symantec Store Order Status Web page on your second or third computer where you want to install Norton 360 2.0.

2. Type your order number and password to log on, and click Find your Order. You will see your order information.
If you do not know your order number and password, you can look up your order using your emailaddress and last 5 digits of your credit card.

On your Order Summary, click Start Download.
If you purchased your product more than 60 days ago, you can click Buy Now to buy the Extended Download Service and download the product again.

Double-click the file that you downloaded.

Read the License Agreement, type your Product Key if prompted, and then click I Agree.
If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation.

In the Installation Options panel, review the options, and then click Next.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

1.I have a CD version
Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.

2. Click Install Norton 360.

3. Read the License Agreement, type your Product Key if prompted, and then click I Agree. If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation.

4. In the Installation Options panel, review the options, and then click Next.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Thanks
Good Luck

I installed Norton 360 security software yesterday and today a pop up tells me there is a problem with the set up and I should try to install again with the same CD when I start to do this the CD pop up...

Deans867,

read carefully..Its probably telling you to insert the CD so it uninstalls and then re-installs Norton 360. When it uninstalls it gives u a warning message "you will loose 366 days. .. "

Just a Note: Norton 360 will slow your PC down. and do unwanted things. I have trouble shot issues involving Norton 360 and wireless connection issues amongst many others.. If you can return it your better off without it.

It is cheaper and more effective to purchase such products as:
AVG or Kaspersky
or maybe even a Opensource Freebie like:
Calmwin from Sourceforge.net

Good luck,

maybe your norton is configured on a high security state. you better configure it as minimal security state. by browsing and reading whats inside your norton, you could find the things you have to adjust to enable some services of your PC.
