Question about Palm Tungsten E2 Handheld
The buttons and everything else work fine, but my touchscreen stopped working. It doesn't respond to my stylus at all. This happened when I first got it and my dad called the Palm people and they told him what to do over the phone. It just involved pushing certain buttons; it was a procedure. Well, this is five months later we don't remember the procedure and it is no longer covered under warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The digitizer is defective and needs to be replaced.
You can find digitizer parts in ebay or other on-line companies, at reasonable prices.
Regarding the labor cost, depending of the repair shop you choose, it may be cheap or expensive.
Also, if you have minimum experience and skills in fixing electronics, you can try it. really is not so difficult.
