The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

How to print date on photo - finepix s5600

Go into the settings of the camera and look for anything called "Date/Time Stamp." Enable this setting and the date will be printed on every picture. Be careful, though. Date/Time Stamps are not easily removed so make sure you want it on whatever you are photographing.

Hope this helps.

Date stamp function on Sony Cybershot S750 camera .How do I get the date stamp to appear on my photographs when transferred to the PC

The camera does not have a feature for stamping dates onto the photographs, but the information is stored with every picture. Just about any photo viewing program should be able to display it. Depending on the program and printer, you can choose to print the date on the picture, in the margins, or on the back. Please refer to the documentation for whatever program you use to print.

I know how to adjust the time and date on the camera but I dont know how to display the time and date in the picture (after the shot). Can you fix this for me please. Thank you!

If you want to see the date and time on the monitor on the back of the camera, simply press up/down on the multiselector to cycle through the different views of your picture until you see the info.

If you want the date and time printed, that depends on how you print. If you're printing from the camera, refer to the "Printing Photographs" section in the manual (page 150 in my copy). If you're using another program, please refer to the instructions for that program.

We have a Finepix F410. The trouble that we are having is printing off photographs that have the date imprinted. The date is on the camara display and is in the "on" mode. Any thoughts??

The Date and time is saved more or less as an add on to the picture file, not as part of the picture itself. So you're not going to get a date printed when you print the picture.

If you RMB click on the .jpg file when its on your PC, and select properties, it will also show the date. Until you edit it that is.

The only real way around it is to A) Buy a camera which has the option, B) Edit the photo, adding the date prior to printing or C) Write the date on the back as we used to have to do.
