Question about Dishwashers
1.Could be the motor getting ready to go but if the unit is not too old
then this is unlikely. Did you check the security of mount of the motor?
2. The pump impeller on the motor shaft could be starting to fail. The impeller problem usually starts with some hard debris getting trapped near the impeller and the rubbing upsets the balance and the plastic part fails.
3. The impeller is hitting debris as it pumps water and if you remove the debris the problem might stop.
