My phone has been acting up like this for a while, it started about six months ago (got the phone in may of 2007) it all started by going white, now it's black, i checked my sim card and it's fine but the batery only last 2 hours. could the battery short the screen out or whats the problem. i can still call out and get calls.
What good advise that i can give you is to bring the phone & the charger to your nearest network service store to have it check. if it's a charger problem you need to buy a new because it is not covered by your insurace if you have one. even if you call the customer service they will give you the same advise so better yet heed my advice... :)

The flip/folding and slide mobile phone have these kind of issue. Its a matter of Flex cable (strip) that connect one display portion to the other circuitry. you need to replace/repair it. hope u understand the matter as i described. Dont hesitate to ask further, if required. goodluck...
There might be a problem with the LCD of the phone, you need to have it checked with a technician. I'm not sure if the phone got damaged due to direct heat of sun light. The phone's LCD is also sensitive and can only take mild heat. Might as well take it to a local techinician and have them evaluate the phone's LCD for you.
This might be a loose connector on the top of phone. What you want to do is open up the top section of the phone, there are four screws. once you remove the top cover there are two connectors, one that comes from the camera and the other comes from the keypad. gently remove this one (upwards) and clean with IPA (alcohol) and a brush. let dry and re-install making sure it connects securely.
