Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
The zero key has popped up and is acting like a teeter tottle from left to right. it still functions but not sure how to get it back down normal like the other keys?
If the plastic scissor is broken or the end clips are broken you will have to replace it LINK
hp uses 4 or 5 different type of plastic key holder so if you need one be sure you order the right one

The keys are available on ebay individually. Look at the key mechanism closely, sometimes it is not broken, just snapped apart. If you're brave you can take the cap off of a working key to see how it's supposed to be installed. You can repair it yourself or have a third party laptop repair service do it for you. You can try to replace the entire part yourself, it is available on any auction website. Also, there is a Laptop repair guide that teaches you how to install the keyboard urself.
