Hello. I got error code C9 on a LAVAMAT 86800. It pumped in water, and it pumps out water. You can select pump in or out....But the motor dont turn. It will not sentrifuge. So I bought new carbon brush'es on the net. One of them were totally wore down. Now it works. They lasted for 10 years.
C9 is a motor fault.
Normally it's worn out carbon brushes so you'll need to check them first.
If worn out or broken, replace them.
Then, you need to erase the code (reset the machine).
To do this, turn the dial to off.
Press and hold together, prewash and soaking buttons.
While holding them, turn the dial 1 click anti clockwise.
Release the buttons.
Turn the dial to off, to any program and back to off.
This should get rid of the C9 code.
It will come back if you don't repair the motor fault.
