Question about Toshiba 57H82 57" Rear Projection Television
I have had a Toshiba 42" Rear Projection since 2004. This past year wavy lines move across the screen, dark images show up more. Last week I had comcast hook up HD Digital Cable and now all it clear, except the Video Tape player and the DVD player, they both still have lines. The PS3 and the new HD cable are working great. Why is this??? Can it be fixed???
Or....try better-shielded cables.

This is a common problem i see at the shop it involves what is known as the hypermodule. there is a group of 11 capacitor.. these are surface mounted and very small and difficult to replace. in an ideal situation replaceing the hypermodule would be best.. but if if understand right this is no longer availble. 2nd option is sending the board in and leting a technician replace caps..3 and most difficult is replaceing the caps yourself.. i do not recomend this...i would recomend 1 and 2
