One works but the other doesnt

i bought a jensen wbt210 and am using an samsung m610 cell phone i am able to make call using the jensen i can hear and the mic works good, but i am not able to hear music thru it, when i open the player and tell it to send the music to the bluetooth my phone says all is well but i cant hear the music thru the speakers (and if i it seems to have an auto shut off is that true? it stops bilking and disconects?)
