Remove the rear cover and see if the compressor is really hot, also, if there is a fan in close poximity to the compressor is running. There will also be some black coils that will be warm to the touch; whether on the bottom of the fridge, back of fridge or a jelly roll style on the right side of the compartment. Check to see if the coils are clean.
If the compressor runs for about 30 seconds and you hear a click; you may have a failed relay or overload and will have to be replaced. Also, it could be a failed compressor that will have to be replaced by an authorized servicer.

  • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  • 2 Press the button to the left of the display on the instrument panel twice within one second. The oil life status will be displayed on the panel -- this should be past the mileage due for the service interval if the wrench icon is illuminated
  • 3 Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position within 10 seconds of the status display.
  • 4 Press and hold the button to the left of the display again with one hand while turning the ignition key back to the "ON" position without starting the engine. The oil life status will show once again
  • 5 Continue to hold down the button for a few seconds longer, and then release it. Wait 10 seconds until a chime indicates and displays 6,000 miles for at least another 10 seconds.

DIC DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER Is there any way to reset with the E/M button broke

The E/M button is just used to switch between English and Metric scales on the temperature display (switches between Fahrenheit and Celsius.)
You can reset the oil change interval by: turn key on (last click before starting), bring oil life percentage up on screen. Turn key off and then on again and push gas pedal down three times within five seconds, your monitor should reset within ten to fifteen seconds.

My Maxtor external hdd switches on, tries to start (spins etc) then switches off within a few seconds

Does the noise sound like a clicking noise at regular intervals?
If so, I'm afraid it sounds like the hard drive is dead and needs to be replaced.

How do I reprogram the 2004 Pontiac Vibe key fob?

To begin programming, follow the procedure.
    1. Set the following conditions: • Ignition off and ignition key out of cylinder. • All doors closed except drivers door. • Drivers door is unlocked.
    2. Insert and remove the key from the ignition switch twice within 5 seconds.
    3. After the above operations, close and open the driver door twice within 40 seconds. Then insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and remove it.
    4. After the above operations, close and open the driver door twice within 40 seconds. Then insert the key into the ignition key cylinder and close the door.
    5. Turn the ignition switch from LOCK to ON and back to LOCK at approximately 1 second interval 1to5 times to select desired mode. • 1 time for add mode • 2 times for rewrite mode • 3 times for confirmation mode • 5 times for prohibition mode
    6. Remove the ignition key from the key cylinder.
    7. After selecting a mode, the integration relay automatically performs the power door LOCK to UNLOCK operation within 3 seconds to inform the selected mode. • In the confirmation mode, when the operation is performed twice, it directs that 2 types of recognition codes have been registered. • In the confirmation mode, if the number of the registration code is 0 the LOCK to UNLOCK operation is automatically performed 5 times. • If the prohibition mode or confirmation mode is selected, registration procedure is completed. • If the add or rewrite mode has been selected, the doors will lock-unlock once or twice at 1 second intervals, once for add mode or twice for rewrite mode. • If the confirmation mode is selected, the doors will lock-unlock 0 to 2 times at 2 second intervals to inform the technician of the number of transmitters programmed. • If the prohibition mode is selected, the doors will lock-unlock 0 to 5 times at 1 second intervals.
    8. Registering new recognition codes for the add mode or rewrite mode. • Within 40 seconds after the add mode or the rewrite mode has been selected, press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1.0 to 1.5 seconds. Within 3 seconds after the previous operation, press either one of the buttons for more than 1.0 seconds. • Within 3 seconds after the transmitter has been turned off, the LOCK and UNLOCK operation will be automatically performed once if the registration of the recognition code of the transmitter is completed correctly. In case the LOCK and UNLOCK operation is performed twice, the registration of recognition code has failed. Perform the registration procedure from the beginning once again.
    9. Press a transmitter button for 2 seconds. The doors will lock-unlock once at a 1 second interval to inform the technician that the signal has been received from the transmitter. • If the doors lock-unlock once, the transmitter programming has been completed. Go to step 8 to continue programming for additional transmitters. • If the doors lock-unlock twice, the transmitter programming is not complete. Go to step 8 to begin the transmitter programming again.
If any of the following conditions occur during programming, the remote control door lock receiver will return to normal operation:

Spanner sign with 500,100 and 0

The spanner or wrench you are seeing indicates how many miles are remaining before your vehicle is supposed to have the oil changed. Normally this is about a 10,000 mile interval and may be reset after an oil change by following this procedure...

    Do the following steps:
Move start switch to position "2".
Within the first 4 seconds after moving the start switch to position 2, press the reset button for the trip counter twice within one second. The display for the service request is activated for about 10 seconds.
Within these 10 seconds, move the start switch into position "0". The service request continues to be displayed.
Press the reset button for trip counter and keep it pressed.
Move the start switch into position "2".
Continue to hold the reset button for the trip counter pressed until the signal sounds and the new start distance appears in the display (it takes about 10 seconds).
