Question about NetGear MR314 802.11b
An access key is configured in the wireless routers web console to allow only the users with the key to connect to it. sometimes referred to as a "WEP KEY" or "WPA key" or "authentication code" To login to your web console, join your computer to your wireless router with a network cable (yellow below) to an Ethernet port 1,2,3 or 4
open your browser and surf to (instead of www) 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 (most common)
you should presented with a login screen
most common username and password is admin and admin
once you have logged in look for your wireless security setup screen such as this.....
look for the Wireless and Security Screens to enter or check your access security code, enter a code or review the existing one. Then once you save your changes you can connect with your laptop, now that you know the I am trying to connect - 6679972.jpgy.
