Question about Microwave Ovens

1 Answer

All of a sudden, the water is coming back up on my garbage disposal instead of going down, it also swirl. I tried to see if the blades are moving and they are free, not stuck, also there is nothing that I can feel inside or around the blades. I don't have a plunger or that special wrench. What do I do or what does it means when the water is coming back up.

My dishwasher didn't drain the water out on the end of the clicle? What could be the problem?

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.I would start where your drain line connects to the house drain,This is where most blocked drains happen. Disconnect the drain line and put it in a bucket and try to drain the dishwasher. Chances are its blocked somewhere you just have to find it.
Thank You and please ACCEPT my answer and Rate my answer if it was helpful..

Never have used a garbage disposal, now after 4 month and using it only about 30 times the water in the sink will not drain. When I turn on the garbage disposal the water in the sink swirls so I know it is...

hello fowl..... you have a blockage in the garbage disposal. you can use a chemical drain cleaner and pour it into the sink where the disposal is located. you should also look into that drain with a flashlight to make sure that there is not a fork or some other object causing the blockage. If you do not choose to use the chemical, you can also disconnect the disposal using the wrench that should be under the sink where the disposal is located. if you choose this method, have a pail handy to catch the water. also unplug the disposal before you work on it. Garbage disposal is not clogged: I can freely turn it with my socket when placed on the center nut. However, when I flip the wall switch to turn it on I can hear the motor trying to "fire" up but...

Your motor is damaged and is not worth repairing on a garbage disposal. Recommend you get online and look for a good waste king disposal. They have the best warranties, incredible prices, lifetime corrosion warranty, have 1000 rpm's faster than the other brands so the food is liquified for the septic systems, and I have never seen one that was jammed in 36 yrs. of service! I have a bosh dishwasher that has not drained of water and the tap light is red on the indicator board

Hello there:
Drain line/air gap A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Pump Your dishwasher pump ejects the water. The pump is usually mounted directly to the motor, then attached to the bottom of the dishwasher. You can reach the pump from inside the dishwasher, but first you need to remove the lower rack, the spray arm, and the spray arm support. Look for an impeller--a round plastic fan blade-type of device that spins around. This is the wash impeller, which forces the water through the spray arm. Beneath the wash impeller is the drain impeller, which is similar in size and shape to the wash impeller. The drain impeller pushes the water toward the drain port. These components make up the pump. If any of the pump components are defective, you need to replace them. Drain valve and/or solenoid Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water. Other dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.
If the motor isn't turning or working, the unit won't drain. Some dishwashers are susceptible to getting stuck if you don't run them regularly. I you may need to manually spin the motor to free it up. If the motor is defective, you need to replace it. Timer Part of what the timer does is control the motor and drain valve. If the timer doesn't work properly, the water may not drain and you need to replace the timer. This problem is uncommon.
