ohm the motor out you should have resistance on the motor if it shows infinity you got a bad winding in the motor. The timer can also be ohmed out. should have resistance. unhook the timer before you ohm it also unhook the motor.

if you put manual detergent that hapend, it could burnd electronis card (or mechanical timer-programer blowup), thermostat or the presostat, the heating element must be OK.

The unit will continue to run as long as there are wet clothes in it. You will need to check the heating element and the two wire fuse on the top part of the heater housing. If either one have no continuity through them, you will need to replace the one that doesn't. This will fix your problem.

did you change out the limit switches? they control the heat to the element... and it sounds like you need a new timer

It wont heat and runs continously

You need an element. When the element breaks and you are using auto dry, right before it gets to off the element becomes a conductor in cool down and no voltage is supplied to the timer motor and will continue to run.
