With these pool cleaners, it is most likely slow or improper water flow through the cleaner. Check your water flow and adjust if necessary. I would also suggest that you check all of the things that you have already checked. The other problem would be that this cleaner might be the incorrect size for your pool, filter, and pump setup.

I have an Easy Set and using a skimmer. Should I remove the extra intake hose?

Huh?
i am confused... What does a hose have to do with the ability of the pump to move water?

Suction of a pump has nothing to do with an extra hose.
Suction ability has everything to do with whether a filter element is clean or dirty!
These toy pumps have an exceptionally SMALL filter, and need cleaning or replacement OFTEN!
The suction action of a pump should not change, with the attachment of a skimmer: unless... The skimmer is higher than it should be and sucks air, therefore the pump will lose prime!
If you comment back with a little more detail, somebody will be glad to assist.

Navigator pool cleaner just skims the bottom of the pool and does not sit on the bottom, it moves all around the pool but appears to be floating a little. How can we fix this so it will sit and move on the...

Interesting question. Do you have the special Lead Hose, the one with a colored cuff attached to the Navigator itself? Other causes can be, too little or too much hose, a pinhole leak in one of the hoses above water causing the hoses to float, not enough suction on the Navigator. You didn't say if you have the Navigator plugged into a skimmer or in a dedicated suction port in the wall. I would first try increasing the suction to the unit and see if your problem doesn't go away.

When I pulg in my Navigator I get air in the filter basket. I have looked for leaks but don't see any. I checked all the fittings to see if they were tight. When I unhook it the air goes away and when...

With the system running slowley pull the hoses out of the water one at a time and listen for air sucking inj the hoses. If you can't find air at the hoses and the cleaner pluggs in the skimmer it may be in the skimmer or the underground lines. Check this by putting a tennis ball over the suction line to see if that produces air at the pump. If this is the case you will need a leak detction service to find and repair the problem.

My barracuda is not moving and i fell is not pulsating eather why?

If your pool cleaner is moving slowly and not pulsating, there are a couple things that you will want to check and/or adjust. Make sure that the main drain is closed. It is a common problem with these pool cleaners not operating correctly if the drain is not closed. Use your flow gauge to make sure that there is adequate flow. Poor water flow through the cleaner can cause these problems. Backwash the filter and clean out any skimmer baskets. Clogs can cause loss of suction and prevent movement. Make sure that the diaphragm is not damaged. Check for hose leaks and air entering the line at all connections.

Polaris won't move and seems to be nose down. The tail is moving but thats it. also when i bring the tail out of the water, it doesn;t have much water pressure shooting out.

Check the pool cleaners filter screen in the in-line filter and clean, if necessary.Clean the skimmer basket, pump basket, and pool filter. If one of these is full or clogged, it could be weighing part of the cleaner down. Check all of the hoses, connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of
water pressure. Finally, make sure that your wheel RPM is set correctly (between 28-30 RPM)

You have check all of the things that I would usually recommend when these pool cleaners are moving properly. My additional suggestions would be to make sure that your hose is not too short (adding lengths of hose if necessary) and to check for steering failure. Check and clean your rear screen, make sure that your cone gear is operating smoothly in all directions, and clean, repair, and replace (if necessary) your gear box.

My Polaris 380 just stop moving the pump was run and had good pressure turn one wheel they all turn freely also tail dose not move

Check several things if these pool cleaners stop moving. Check the filter screen in the in-line filter and clean, if necessary. Clean the skimmer basket, pump basket, and pool filter. Check all of the hoses,
connections, and swivels for leaks that could cause loss of water pressure. Make sure that your wheel RPM is between 28 and 32. Adjust your thrust if necessary to get RPM to that level.

Navigator doesnt work

navigators are prone to debris getting stuck in the turbine and causing the unit to stop. Try clearing the turbine and try it again. Depending on the age of the unit, you could also be in need of a turbine kit. There are plastic bearings that hold the turbine and after time they will wear out and cause the unit to not move very well or move in circles. It will look like the pods are moving but since the turbine is not providing the normal range of movement, the unit will not work properly. Take the unit apart and inspect the turbine bearings and "A-Frame" bearings as well. If the bearings are damaged, you'll need to buy a "Turbine kit with a-frames". You should be able to install it yourself.

Which pressure should i use on uwf polaris assembly 380

It might not be your booster pump. First, check the filter screen and clean if necessary. Often, this is the only problem when these pool cleaners are having problems. Clean the skimmer, pump, and filter also. You will also want to check all connections and hoses to make sure that you don't have a leak.

We have no suction in our vaccuum line. we have

some plumbing situations allow you to close a valve or two off in front of the pump...(suction side) check and make sure the obvious, (that the cleaner line is not closed)... next if its possible to shut down say the main drain and leave the skimmer open....doing this will allow the pump to pull from one source and therefore pull harder from that one source....therefore moving a vacuum.... the navigators are notorious for breaking down and needing special attention due to the multitude of moving parts in them
