i actually found the solution. some platters were pressed on lightly so you lift up on the platter and tap on the spindle . the platter should pop off.

Some t/tables have a rubber mat held in place with adhesive. Lift mat around spindle bearing, see if there is a "c" clip. Also if you can remove spindle look for anything that may be holding t/t. There is an outside chance dried lubricant has caused the bearing to stick. Brace the t/t base and with finger tips, lift t/t and with gentle rotating motion, try to lift off

My denon 26-f turntable stylus arm lifts about 2 minutes before end of record. how can this be adjusted on the turntable?

Hi Richard, at the base of the tonearm look for a rubber grommet. Under it you will find a screw. Adjust clockwise slightly to make the tonearm lift further along. Fine tune antil sorted. If the adjustment is not at tonearm base remove the rubber platter mat. If the platter has an access hole in it rotate platter so the hole is near the tonearm and look for scew to adjust. I have a fisher and paykel dd24ph6 model that will not lock. Where is the locking mechanism located?

the way the dish drawer locks is the lid lowers onto the drawer..on the sides of the drawer are motors that lower and lock the lid into place ..to get to them the drawer must be removed,to remove the drawer remove th pins from the side of the drawer, slide down and off the front panel and push and and release the tabs that lock the drawer to the slide rails..then push the slides back slightly and lift off drawer..on the sides connected to support bracket on each side will be a lid motor. It is advisable to replace both at once

Cannot remove clip around spindle to lift off platten to get to change drive belt of my Thorens TD170

Hello mervyn_u,

The clip is a snap ring and it is best to use a pair of snap ring pliers to remove it without damaging or stretching it. Many people use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the ring but, again, you risk damaging the ring. You can purchase an inexpensive pair of these at your local Sears or other hardware store. They are simple to use.

Fisher & paykel machine locked but lid is up

It sounds like the lid lock is either stuck or broken,You will need to lift the top hob by removing the two plastic lugs where the lid rests & removeing the screws it will then lift up and you will be able to remove the lock to inspect it,Also you can remove the lid in the up position by pulling vertically to make it a bit easier,Hope this helps Cheers.

Look at spindle bearing in center of t-table. There is probably a small ring lock there holding the table. Use a pick or small screw driver to carefully remove this ring.

Belt off

Lift the platter. PLace the belt under the platter on the inside ring. PLace it back on the turntable, and you can stretch it back onto the motor with your finger or black stick through one of the holes on the platter, while the platter is positioned where it is accessible. if you need a replacement, try...
