My D-R5 will display the clock when it is plugged in, however when you turn on, it displays HELLO and will not advance from that point. Tech Service suggested from the remote pressing ZOOM-7-0-1-ZOOM to reintialize as well as holding the CH UP & PLAY for 4 seconds. Neither will cause the unit to reinitialize. I've left uplugged overnite as well. Any Suggestions?

My dvd player will not turn on. It is fully charged. It seems like the on/off slide may be loose. What can I do to fix this?

Player worked fine until I unplugged it. Now it won't turn on. Any suggestions?

My dealer lock was on, and the normal solution wasn't working. I turned off the machine (I think, I really don't remember) and unplugged it to reset it. Now it won't turn on at all! There's nothing wrong with my power source (everything else plugged into it works fine) and there seems to be no damage to the cord itself..
It's a rental disc in there so I'm on a limited time period to get the silly thing fixed!
