I got a voice message but i dont understand how as I dont have an answer phone on my mobile phone. when i try to listen to the message it says VMS not activated, could you possibly help? Many thanks

You must do a factory reset when a password is forgotten.

call your phone carrier (tmo, sprint, verizon, whatever.)

they can help you reset it.

Go into voice mail and listen to your message then press option 3 that will delete the message
Just repeat for all messages hou wsnt to get rid off

The place to set rings to answer is # 506 (VMS hunt delay)selecting either 1 for the day schule or 2 for the night schedule. You'll also want to check #507 (VMS hunt schedule) to make sure your line is in the correct schedule and not following the alternate schedule.

I don't think the voice mail is going bad.

On my 4424D+, I can turn off voice mail.
I use this feature when I'm gone for an extended period of time so I don't come back to 100 VMs.

Dial into your voice mail.
Choose the prompt for Call Answer Mode. (Option 8 on my phone.)
Then choose the prompt for Record Mode. (Option 1 for me.) This allows callers to record voice mails on your line.

Hi Richard. Ok i can understand your problem. I was facing same problem with my cell also. but you dont need to worry you just need to reset your mobile phone settings. If that doesn't work then simply master reset your phone. All the problems will be solved then. You can do that by going to hte settings of your mobile phone. I hope this will help you in solving your problem.

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.

You will need to get the answering machine service activatrd from your Mobile Service Provider. They shall provide you your Voice Mail box number that you can dial and listen to your Voice Messages.

Going to depend on what type of voice mail. One option to try is while listening to the message try 5* to rewind it or you can type 2 to restart the message.

IF YOU HAVE A STUTTERED DIALTONE WHEN YOU HAVE MESSAGES THEN IT PROBABLY COMES FROM YOUR TELEPHONE COMPANY. CALL THE PHONE COMPANY AND ASK FOR INSTRUCTIONS TO CHANGE THE GREETING ON VOICEMAIL.
