Question about Alpine TDM-7561 Cassette Player
We have a '94 Toyota with factory fitted Alpine stereo 7510T
We do not have the player manual - after we changed the battery we need to enter the code. Toyota dealer advised code would be last 3 digits of chassis number.
How is this entered? There are numbers on the stereo (1 to 6) - our chassis number includes a nine.
What is the process to restore our stereo to working state?
I have a manual for this type of stereo and it states:
Turn ignition switch to accessory position and enter code: 2 3 3 5 6
I have tried but not had any luck!!

SOURCE: need to reset alpine 7510T
If this is the model fitted in a TOYOTA then the code is only available from the Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist (or your local Car Radio / Audio Store) who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip

The BUS wires are a serial data link, probably incompatible with other makes of CD player. I'd hesitate to connect it to +12v, this may cause damage. If anything try connecting it to BUS.C through a 1kohm resistor to start with.
Perhaps you need something like this to make it work. http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-alpine-kcm-122b_p-20941.htm
