TV tuner/IR cable

I have a brand new Gateway GM5664. I've connected my cable to the tower. I then went into TV setup. The computer found the cable connection, but then said I needed an IR cable. Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any other cable or boxes to connect. What exactly is an IR cable, was it supposed to come with the computer and how can I get the TV connection to work? Thanks!

MasterIR is infrared. back to the store maybe you have left something... or forgot to give on you
