You need to blow out the drain line where it hooks up to the pan and clean out the drip pan. It doesn't matter how clean you keep the filter, that's just to keep the evaporator coils clean, which is important in itself. But algae will grow in the drip pan if it is not tilted to drain correctly and will clog up the drain line. If you put a level on the top of the unit, the bubble should JUST BARELY break the line on the OPPOSITE side from the drain outlet on the pan. Hope this helps.

The motor is burnt out. When it is cool it will pump water out, but as it heats up and the insulation on the windings break-down is short-circuits and stops.

I think the problem is that the A/C has tripped the electrical switch located in the plug. To correct press the black button followed by the clear button. Then try turning the unit on -it has worked for me so no reason it should not work for you.

problem is pump-must replace- there is a valve inside unit that holds pressure to about 150psi -it is leaking by when unit shuts down- causing problem. If left unrepaired you could blow chimeny connection with bad ignition. good luck
