When I double click on the icon nothing happens. In task control I see the Reader Library as a "Process" and not as an Application. I did delete the software from my PC and reloaded it again, but the same result. Does anyone know how I can get the program as an application? I have Windows 7 64 bits on my PC

I would try a system repair, where it just repairs the OS and doesn't affect the current software installed. I believe reboot and f10 for system repair.

Click the START MENU. then click CONTROL PANEL. In the CONTROL PANEL, locate the link PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE. In the PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE options, click ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS. Application icons will appear. Double click the SERVICES ICON. In this section, a list to the lest will appear. Double click the option SERVICES AND APPLICATIONS. In the window, a list will appear with services that your computer provides. Scroll down the list until you find Plug and Play Devices, Application Management, Smart card reader, as well as other services your computer may have that involve this service. Once you have located these services, individually RIGHT CLICK each one, click PROPERTIES. Here you will see a DROP MENU BOX. In the DROP MENU BOX, Make sure the device is set to AUTOMATIC, THEN CLICK APPLY, AND START THE SERVICE. In some cases services will not be able to START due to dependency programs being disabled or in STOP MODE. While being in the PROPERTIES of the service, click on the DEPENDENCIES TAB. It will show a list of the programs that is SERVICE depends on to run correctly. Locate that program in the list of services, and follow the above steps. Printer not printing.


Follow these steps to resolve the issue. Windows XP
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, and then click All Programs.
  2. Click Accessories, and then click System Tools.
  3. Click Scheduled Tasks. The Scheduled Tasks window opens.
  4. Under Name, click and delete any task that starts with Webreg (for example, Webreg 20031218075500).
  5. Close the Scheduled Tasks window.
Windows Vista
  1. On the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon (c01319360.gif).
  2. Right-click Computer, and then click Manage. The Computer Management window opens.
  3. In the left pane, click the arrow next to Task Scheduler, and then click Task Scheduler Library.
  4. Under Name, find and click any task that starts with Webreg (for example, Webreg 20031218075500).
  5. In the Actions pane, click Delete.
  6. In the Confirm delete dialog box, click Yes.
  7. Close the Computer Management window.
Windows 7

How to cancel print task


If you are using XP in the bottom right corner you should see a small printer icon. Click on it (you mite need to click on the arrow to expose the printer icon) Then right click on the job and cancel it. Steven

I click on my bluetooth icon and nothing happens i have a hp mini 1000 i dont know what elese to do to get it open


first make sure your blurtooth is on. then go to all programs if the desktop shortcut dosnt work. if still nothing is happeneing open up teh task manager. (ctrl, alt, delete) then open up the task manager. see if theres anything in the porcess tab that says blutooth abreviated. or the name of the program that your are using blutooth for. end the process and try to run it again.

My messenger doesn't open


Please check the right bottom side with clock ...there will be one gray Yahoo messenger ICON just double click on that or Right click and choose Show Yahoo Messenger...if that is not there press Alt+Ctrl+Del to open Task Manager...check if there is any process running related Yahoo or Named Yahoo....just Choose that and End Process that...
Now try open yahoo messenger again...

If still not works...Uninstall Yahoo messenger....restart PC...Download and Install it again....

it appears you have a corrupt software and you will probably need to reinstall the software.

here is a procedure I found on the Blackberry forum that will possibly help you.
You will need the Blackberry Desktop Software installed on your computer before attempting this.

Problem

The following error is displayed on the BlackBerry device:
net_rim_bb_phone_app killed due to message queue overflow

Cause

This issue may be caused by call logs or BlackBerry device software.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

Task 1: Clear Phone Call Logs
  1. In BlackBerry Desktop Manager on the computer, double-click the Back Up and Restore icon.
  2. In the Back Up and Restore window, click Advanced. The BlackBerry device database information will populate the right hand side of the window.
  3. Scroll down through the list and highlight Phone Call Logs, and select Clear. Note: If you are unable to clear Phone Call Logs, delete the Desktop [SYNC] service book on the BlackBerry device. This can be performed on the BlackBerry device by selecting Options >Advanced Options >Service Book and clicking Delete.
  4. Once the Phone Call Logs database has been cleared, disconnect the BlackBerry device from the computer, and then re-connect it to obtain a new Desktop[SYNC] service book.
If this does not resolve the issue, proceed to Task 2.

Task 2

Create a full back up of the BlackBerry device and run Application Loader in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to erase all data and applications from the BlackBerry device. Refer to KB02318 for these steps. Once Application Loader has completed, perform a syncronization or advanced restore to restore the data to the BlackBerry device. To do this, double-click on either the Synchronize or Backup and Restore icons, and follow the on-screen instructions.

My Yahoo Messenger wont open?but earlier I still can use it but now when I click the icon nothing is happening.pls advise..


Your process probably just froze.

Press (on your keyboard) Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time and the task manager should come up. If you have windows vista then select task manager when given a list of options.

--> Go to the Tab that says "Processes"
--> Look for the name "YahooMessenger.exe" on the left hand side. and click it to highlight it.
--> Click "End Process" on the bottom right hand side.
--> Its going to ask do you want to end process. Just say yes. Or it might hesitate for a minute and say the task is not responding. Simply hit "End"
--> Once you no longer see "YahooMessenger" in the list, double the yahoo messenger icon to bring it back up.


If this still does not work your going to have to unistall and re-install the program.

hi, you want mute the sound ok, it's easy. After you enter the windows see the task bar it contains more icons and application .In the corner of the task bar you can see the clock or time display before that more icons there you see the sound icons it's like the speaker . Double click it the volume control comes select the first options volume bar and select the option mute all.if you could not get the icons from the task bar . then goto

  2. control panel
  3. sound and volume controls
  4. select the sound control tab
here you can get the voume control tab . after all these process you cant get it please inform

Error 2711
When receiving the 2711 error during Logitech QuickCam/Image Studio software installation, please perform the following steps:
  1. Use Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel to uninstall any current installation of QuickCam/ImageStudio software. For Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME or NT
    1. Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel.
    2. Double click the icon labeled Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Highlight the desired program in the list provided (QuickCam or ImageStudio).
    4. Click Add/Remove Programs located in the bottom right of the list provided.
    For Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP
    1. Click Start. followed by Control Panel.
    2. Double click the icon labeled Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Highlight the desired program in the list provided (QuickCam or ImageStudio).
    4. Click the button labeled Remove located in the bottom right of the program selected.
  2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Logitech.
    1. Double click the icon on the desktop labeled My Computer.
    2. Double click the icon labeled C:\(computer name).
    3. Double click the yellow folder labeled Program Files.
    4. Double click the yellow folder labeled Logitech.
  3. Delete any folders for QuickCam/ImageStudio.
    1. Select the yellow folder with the QuickCam or ImageStudio names.
    2. Click the menu options for File, followed by Delete.
    3. Repeat for any other QuickCam/ImageStudio folders.
  4. Delete all files located in the Windows temporary directory C:\Windows\Temp or C:\WinNT\Temp
    1. Double click the icon on the desktop labeled My Computer.
    2. Double click the icon labeled C:\(computer name).
    3. Double click the yellow folder labeled Windows or WinNT.
    4. Double click the yellow folder labeled Temp.
    5. On the menu across the top of the window, click Edit followed by Select All.
    6. On the menu across the top of the window, click File followed by Delete.
    7. Click OK.
  5. Reinstall QuickCam/ImageStudio
    1. Remove and reinsert the QuickCam/ImageStudio CD and follow the prompts OR
    2. Double click on the downloaded ImagStudio file.
