Cannot remove black cover

How do I take the black cover attached to the scanner away from (upward) the printing head. I cannot do it so i cannot fix the foil that u r talking about (because I cannot see the printing head clearly) :) It's MFC 440CN brother printer; and it looks like it's really stuck, all the screws are loose..... thanx..... email me please soon as possible at mirezhm13@yahoo.com
