FAX PICKS UP WITH ANSWERING MACHINE

I HAVE MY ANSWERING MACHING TO PICK UP ON 3 RINGS AND MY FAX ON 5. BUT WHEN EVER THE ANSWERING MACHINE PICKS UP SO DOES THE FAX SO YOU CAN NOT HEAR THE MESSAGE BEING LEFT.
