If you're unable to enter your BIOS, or if you set a system password in the BIOS but forgot it, you might be able to fix the problem by clearing the CMOS memory. On some motherboards, this requires you to turn off and unplug your PC, disconnect the CMOS battery for a few hours, replace the battery, and turn on your PC again. Other motherboards have a CMOS clear jumper pin that you must move to a temporary position and then return it to its original position.

Post back if you still need more help.

Thank you

Bios reset on ms 6570 k7n2 delta ilsr with jumper

Hi, you can download a manual here:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K7N2-Delta2-Platinum.html#/?div=Manual

Unzip the file before you can read it.
The bios can also be resetet by removing the cmos battery:

The manual shows how to do it with the jumper settings.

for agp motherboards, you have to install agp mobo drivers, before you install the actual video card drivers.

If you just added the sata and reformatted the drive with a new copy of the Operating System you will need to reload the sound drivers located at MSI's web site in there drivers and download section.

My server would not start up after I removed the CMOS Battery

There is a capacitor in switching power supplies that fails, and is only used to start the supply, so with that cap bad it will keep working until you turn it off and then try to start it again. Apparently that's where you're at. Replace the supply.

Need drivers for the motherboard

Here you go:

http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&prod_no=519

If this isn't it just search MSI.com and leave off the MS 6570. There were a couple of different ones.

Let me know if that helps you.

I tried to overclock it

Doesnt sound good - When you said you reset the bios that meant you reset the CMOS jumper on the mainboard?

If that doesnt do it then i would try just one stick of ram at a time.

You may even have burned up the CPU trying to overclock it so far. If you could find another athlon xp then i would try that last.

If that isnt practical then it is likely the mainboard is shot.

It would probably be best at that point to use this as an excuse to upgrade to a newer platform - an athlon x2 5600 with mainboard and RAM is only about $200-$250 depending on the combo you get. Keep in mind most newer boards will use PCI Express instead of AGP video cards.
