When I select the camera function, a warning message appears, stating that "another apllication is running. Close it and restart the camera." However, there are no applications running. I have followed advice to do a master reset, have updated the software via SEUS, but still no joy. Does anyone know what might be wrong and how this problem can be resolved? Please help!

For this problem i worked around by turning on the camera with the phone slider close. When it says slide the cover, do it and it generally works.

try to substitute the slide Flex Cable

Open up the test menu by pressing right * left left * left * and from the service tests choose the camera,if the camera doesn't work here then it may have become dislodged.It can easyily be reattched to the board by opening up the casing

hey guys, i suddenly ran into a very similar problem, when i open my camera function it just opens to the grey screen and freezes, and thats when i open it by pushing the camera button on the dial of the phone. when i try to open my camera function through the menu, i get the application is still running thing...any ideas? o_o
its strange how out of no where it stopped working, i don't remember the phone taking a bad fall or anything..PLEASE HELP!!
