I saw that you had answered someone elses question about copying phone numbers from the phone to the sim card. Is there anyway you can walk me through this since I am unable to see the screen. It is water damaged. The phone turns on, but I cannot see the screen. Any ideas?!

Restriction is nothing but the unlocking for your mobile, unlocking means in your phone just removes the SIM card restriction on your phone so that you can use any other network's SIM card. To get the restriction code for your Nokia model mobile, just visit this site http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/nokia-6030/rs7wp9/ , in this site just give your IMEI number , country & network lock after that within a short period you can get the restriction code for your nokia mobile............I hope this may helpful to you.........
I had the same issue. Assuming that the phone still works, you can copy all the numbers onto the SIM card. Then put the SIM card in a different phone and copy them back off again.
To do this hit this sequence of buttons: The Left next button(little dash in the top left corner) - pulls up menu #8 - goes to address book #5 - "copy all contacts" #2 - "handset to smartchip" #1 - "keep original" #1 - "yes"
Give it a minute or two to copy the numbers. Then power it down. The SIM card is underneath the battery.
try this one. just go to contacts then just look for copy all then there is a message that will appear that says copy all to phone or copy all to sim card. just try and try to fix the phonebook of your phone you will see it.
Messages can't be put on SIM cards. Depending on how many you've got to keep, the easiest way is to send them to your new phone (new number), or to a friends phone, then resend them to your new phone (old number) Or copy them to your PC via PC Suite, then download them to your phone. Although you might get a problem or two doing it this way.
