Hi harryhihatt

Found one for you here

It is type SNP313 and is specific to your particular cartridge fitted to your T/T Where abouts in the world are you, there are a few aftermarket sources I could try for you also. BUT the audio technica is a good brand. I would go for that.

A FixYa rating would be awesome for my solution here, hope you get your vinyl spinning again real soon. :)

There should be a "C" clip on the center post that holds the record in the middle. Pop that off and gently wiggle table up. Careful not to over stretch the belt. There could be a cover over the clip.

Looking for a stylus for old sansui turntable model FR-D25??? Any suggestions

It is next to impossible to find a replacement stylus, I suggest replacing the cartridge which will include the stylus giving you the flexibility to make a choice on what you prefer.

This turntable goes to fast

I am sure you meant "TOO" fast...please be more specific. Remember, we vannot see your turntable from here, so "this turntable" doesn't help us much.
I have no idea if there's a pitch adjust on it, if it's belt or direct drive, DC servo or stepper controlled, nothing. You need to tell us that "My turntable model X by company Y is turning Z% too fast" filling in for x, y and z. if it sounds like it's just a little fast, z might be 5%. if it's going twice the speed it should, then z might be 100% - give a best estimate for Z but be accurate with everything else.

Sansui 2000x Phone 1 and 2 inputs produce garbled sounds.

I imagine everything is also VERY LOUD.

Only a Phono (old school turntable) should be plugged into the Phono inputs. It contains a preamp for the tiny signal provided by a Phono cartridge, plus is alters the frequency response drastically to compensate for the RIAA curve applied when they cut the record from tape.

Have a Sansui compu edit p-m70 turtable. I turn

Lift off the turntable mat and the platter. Near the tone-arm, remove two screws holding down a panel and then inspect the tonearm belt. They wear out and stretch out and this could be the problem. Replacement is easy and does not require any special tools or further dissasembly.

Lock light indicates that turntable platter speed has reached correct speed.

Looking for stylus and drive belt for FR-1080....old

The drive belt I can look up by the model number. I'llpost that when I get it. The stylus, however, you'll nee dto provide some info first. Are there any markings on either the cartridge or needle? Please post those markings. That will geive me an idea of what brand of cartridge and the possible needle that is used.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi phopkins3

You gotta love JBL bottom end:) Is this a new problem or something you have been putting up with. Check settings on the amp first. If you have excessive bass boost you may get this sort of problem. Acoustic isolation is what fixes it. IF bass frequencies are able to couple up to the turn table enough to bounce the needle, then you need to get the T/T better isolated from the speakers. Check that the body of the turntable is isolated from everything, and that it is sitting squarely on its feet. You could also use a rumble filter if your amp has one fitted. The setup on the turntable is also worth a look. Set tracking force to 2-3 grams. Check these things and report back to me here and we shall get to the bottom of your problem for you. :)
