Cant transfer pictures from camera to computer

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Computer not recognizing Camera

Are you always using the same USB-port on your PC? If yes try to use another USB-port.
If the above solution will not work try to re-install the camera drivers.

Camera does not work.

try having the phone firmware reflash this might help correct the issue with the camera , you can take the phone to a mobile service center and have them do that for you.

LCD is not working after connecting the camera to the TV screen

Sounds like maybe the video out socket is stuck, damaged or dirty, without opening the camera you could try inserting the video jack a number of times and give it a gentle wiggle.
Also resetting the camera to default settings may help.. beyond that its in need of repair.

Best of luck

Transfer Problem

What did your PC screen say? It is the PC that does the file transfer not the camera. If you use a Window XP OS, a window on the PC screen should pop up and ask you what you want to do. If you don't see that (plug and unplug the USB cable again and/or use your window window explorer (right click on the start icon and choose explore) to look for your camera. I don't have a Finepix S304, may be the camera screen just telling you that it detected a PC hook up to the camera. Good luck, Hope this help.
