I suggest you to use Format Factory (here is the link
for you to download it from the official site). The use of this program is near to Switch Sound File Converter Plus, both are audio file converters. Among the advantages of the program I suggest is that iIt's a freeware program
and it could be usefull when you need to convert video files too. In
two words it converts all multimedia files to all multimedia files.

According to Sanyo helpdesk:
QUESTION:How do I make .wav files so that it can be played in any computer?
ANSWER:Go into PC Memo Scriber:
1) Click Start, Programs, Pc Memo Scriber, Pc Memo Scriber
2) Click on the file of your choice (ex: AU1BU002.wav)
3) On the top menu click on Edit, Format Conversion
4) Click on PCM then click OK
5) This will create a new file that can be played on any computer.
If you need further faq from Sanyo take a look at this link.
Mention that there must be 2 applications installed at your computer from Sanyo. In case of any of the two is missing you have to remove the other one and reinstall both.
I suggest you make all the settings at your recorder so that the recordings are in a most common format (mp3, wma)
In case neither of the above methods will help you, I already send at your e-mail the file Sanyo-ADPCM-codec.zip. It's a 10 years old file for installing all the necessary drivers for playing / converting Sanyo's LD - AD PCM audio files. Extract the file and run the setup file from the internal folder.

Hi Stelios
This hasn't worked. The convert state has come up as Failed. Can I send you my WAV file and you convert it for me and send it back? This is driving me nuts, because I have now downloaded 3 conversion programmes on to my computer and none of them will convert these WAV files. What can the problem be? This is now costing me lots of money for something that I do all the time. Look forward to your reply.
