Reverse coil to the capacitor and the fan will reverse.
Open the unit and check to find two sets of coils, the one connected to the capacitor must be reversed and then connected to the coil.

The guide assembly on my 14" band saw will not stay peralell with the blade as it goes from the top of its travel to the bottom. it goes right to left going up and reverse going down the blade . the o

Sounds like something's bent. You might need some replacement parts. 14" band saws, regardless of brand, are generally made with Chinese parts that are knockoff Delta-Rockwell parts from many years ago. Grizzly sells most of these parts at reasonable prices. Check the exploded views of their saws to see if the parts match. Craftsman parts are expensive, even though they're the same part.

I have a sidewinder model 312 342 in which we only use the hand remote. The wal mount remote was not installed. The hand remote does not have the feature to reverse the blades. is there another remote...

The short answer is no.
Since it is not a function of the fan's original remote control buying any remote that has this (as a custom feature) will never work with your fan. . . Sorry

Explanation:

Since you usually only change the rotation twice a year this is accomplished by a switch on the fan itself.
During winter heating, to help move warm air that is trapped on the ceiling, blades should turn 'forward' in a clockwise motion. This movement will push up the air and pull the warm trapped air down the sides of the room improving heat distribution.

During hot summer weather, to help produce a comfortable breeze or 'windchill' that cools the skin, blades should rotate in a 'reverse' counter-clockwise motion. The air movement has the same comfortable effect as when you fan yourself with a magazine to get relief from hot, stifling air.

Hope this helps,

The Tinkerer

Kubota T1570 transmission will not engage in forward or reverse. Starts fine and runs fine, mower blades engage, but no movement. Worked yesterday, not working today. Any ideas? Thank you.

Only problems that come to mind are rather obvious ones. My first guess would be a broken HST belt- the one from the engine to transmission- OR part of that belt assembly (idler pulley, slipped off a pulley, broken tension spring). Another possibility would be the pedal linkage. Maybe a pin fell out of that somewhere and the linkage isn't engaging the transmission.

The bottom driving band wheel has movement when i remove blade

There shouldn't be any unnecessary movement on the lower wheel. This will allow the blade to jump off.
Make sure that the adjustments were right especially the lower blade guides.

I own a craftsman LT 2000 17 HP it has worked well and as a rule I am pleased however recently I changed my blades and encountered a problem in that the laft bade turns slower than the right the result is...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
You assessment of the problem is pretty much on the mark. Here is what you should do to check the bearing.
1. Remove the belt from the suspect deck pulley
2. Reach under and try and teeter the blade by gripping the end of the blade and lifting it up and down. (None allowed but compare it to the good blade) Watch both the under side of the mower deck for movement and the upper side pulley of the mower deck for movement.
3. Spin the blade by hand and feel the blade bearing upper housing as it spins You should NOT feel any rumbles, strange vibration or odd noises as the blade is rotated.
4. Wrap a nylon rope around the drive pulley like a starter recoil tightly, tie it off and try and rotate the blade. Reverse your nylon rope wrapping direction and do this again. If the blade moved and the pulley does not move most likely the shaft key in the blade adapter has sheared or is missing. (You can try this test with the belt on....also vs using a rope. I find that I still have to tie the belt together to keep is from rotating.)

By doing this you are going to identify the problem.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

I have a simple Royal paper shredder. Got paper stuck in it. Going back and forth the paper appears to be gone, and it grinds normally in reverse but going forward the green light is on but nothing will...

Does the machine even run in reverse???? Have you ever oiled the machine.???
Put some "shredder oil" onto the cutting blades while it is running in reverse then try running it forwards.
If you can hear the motor running but the cutting blades dont turn you will have to open it up to see what is broken.
For parts assistance you can contact Royal at 1-800-524-0799.

Exhaust fan has stopped working Need to troubleshoot

Even though this is a pain, I need to suggest that you perform the following:
Remove the microwave from the mounting position as follows:
1. Place a cardboard box of sufficient height to have the microwave rest on it with no more than about a 4-inch drop. Cover the box with a bath towel.
2. Using a power screwdriver, remove the 2 mounting screws located in the overhead cabinet base. (microwave front will tilt down onto the box)
3. Firmly lift on the rear of the microwave to unhook it from the wall mount bracket.
4. Once removed, pull some slack on the power cord.
5. Slide the box and microwave forward (toward you)....enough to see the fan blades
6. Place a small cup of water in the microwave and press quick start (30 seconds)
7 Look at the fan blades. If NO movement, open door. Hand rotate blades a full turn to ensure free movement.
8. Restart microwave. (fan blades move - Yes/no)
If No, check power cable that supplies internal power to fan. Be sure it is connectied.
If yes - but only a slight movement - it is clogged with grease...remove it and spray with lots of Ammonia to clean fan elements. Shake excess moisture off. Retest.(fan blades move - Yes/no).
If yes, reverse removal procedure and enjoy....
If no, Replace fan assembly

Did you try to disengage the safety feature that should shut the tractor off when the blades are engaged and the tractor is placed in reverse? I believe that it is located under the shift leaver
