SOURCE: my phone was stolen yesterday.
1 call your carrier (give this info to them)........to track, block it or shut it down.... this will also help you with the billing (you will not get bill from the time you lost it).......you can also change the message, letting close ones know you are okay you just do not have the cell anymore...
2 get a police report that it was stolen (your carrier is nice, but they can get down right nasty too)

Pullout your battery and look closer at the back.. should be there in plain text. That's on the phone not on the battery.
